Main Player Upgrades (MPU)
Each off-season, every team will have 6 MPU to use on NHL Players.
Skater must have played 30 games in prior season to be eligible.
Goalies must have played 20 games in prior season to be eligible.
Players have to be 23 yr old or older.
MPU can't be traded.
MPUs will be portioned as such:
94-99 OA -- 6 MPU to add 1 to Player Overall
91-93 OA -- 5 MPU to add 1 to Player Overall
89-90 OA -- 4 MPU to add 1 to Player Overall
87-88 OA -- 3 MPU to add 1 to Player Overall
83-86 OA -- 2 MPU to add 1 to Player Overall
79-82 OA -- 1 MPU to add 1 to Player Overall
<79 OA -- 1 MPU to add 2 to Player Overall
Amateur Player Upgrades (APU)
Each off-season, every team will have 6 APU to use on AHL Players (Age 20+).
Skaters must have played less than 30 NHL games in the prior season to be eligible.
Goalies must have played less than 15 NHL games in the prior season to be eligible.
The maximum a player can be upgraded using APU is 80 overall.
APU can't be traded.
You can't use APU on 18/19 yr olds.
APU will be portioned as such:
79 OA -- 3 APU to add 1 to Player Overall
78 OA -- 2 APU to add 1 to Player Overall
75-77 OA+ -- 1 APU to add 1 to Player Overall
68-74 OA -- 1 APU to add 2 to Player Overall
57-67 OA -- 1 APU to add 3 to Player Overall
-There will be age restrictions on APU usage
20 yr olds can only receive 2 APU
21 yr olds can only receive 3 APU
22 yr olds can only receive 4 APU
23+ yr olds, no max, can use all 6 APU
Position Changes
Each Off-season every GM will have the ability to change 2 Positions and 2 Player Types
Players under 20 yrs old and players drafted in this league still on their rookie deal CANNOT have their position or player type changed.
Examples:
C Dylan Strome PLY 84 (23) --> TWF
Strome went from a PLY to a TWF
LW Joel Farabee SNP 81 (21) -> RW
Farabee went from a LW to a RW
Season Performance Upgrades/Downgrades
Auto Downgrades for 35+
Players (35-36) will receive one of the following (0,-1,-1,-1,-1,-2)
Players (37+) will receive one of the following (-1,-1,-1,-2,-2,-2)
18/19 yr olds = Plays in JRs:
18 -- (+3,+3,+3,+3,+3,+4,+4,+4)
19 -- (0,+1,+2,+2,+2,+2,+3,+3,+3,+3,+4,+4)
18/19 yr olds = Plays in NHL:
18 -- Performance upgrade plus a +2
19 -- Performance upgrade with one of the following (0,+1,+2)
Performance upgrades will take place at the discretion of PR.
Injuries won't affect downgrades, they could possibly hinder upgrades if they miss lots of games.
