Guys like Kerfoot are mainly in the deal to help the cap work for Toronto. He's actually shedding cap in this deal. Toronto probably wants to move Andersen (or Andersen + Liljegren) for a dman, so Varlamov can be a solid replacement to allow for that to happen. |

Well as I see it we are here to stop the most idiotic trades to save new GM's Neither of them are new to sim leagues, is the trade in favor of ANA imo? -Yes Would I do this trade if I where TOR? -No But if TOR wants a few upgrades and is way one of the best young players, then I won't stand in his way for that. Bottom Line, kmatt is in other leagues and is not new. I will let him run his team the way he wants to. Even thou this is a bad trade for him in the long run |

Milano for Malgin (Malgin has been in the AHL so far so he's probably less likely to get upgrades compared to Milano who has been a fairly decent 3rd liner). Please don't say things like this going forward, it can be really misleading. They are both in line for an upgrade and Malgin has a better chance to get more of an upgrade than Milano if he starts playing regularly instead of just an injury replacement. |
