The deal with Carolina was pending Ovechkin clearing his NMC, which he likely didn't. |

The Carolina GM was telling me that one of the mods told him that the Carolina-Washington deal was likely to be rejected. Don't know which mod told him...

It came from me, because a mod told me that in on discord. We had kind of forgot to consider the NMC really I guess

We had kind of forgot to consider the NMC really I guess The contract didn't have a NMC at first because it was a non-gm and no one is allowed to trade with them. Once someone took them, I asked the other mods/admins if we should enforce a nmc cause I almost retired ovechkin after last season and he wouldn't have re-signed without one. Now I know for next time to make sure I include a NMC no matter if they are a non-gm team or not. Since it was my error and a new GM, we were probably not going to enforce it and ovechkin's contract would not have a NMC attached to it |
