He just traded his best player to one of the teams he's fighting with for a playoff spot. CBJ may be in 5th now but there are 5 teams below him within 3 points. |

He just traded his best player to one of the teams he's fighting with for a playoff spot. CBJ may be in 5th now but there are 5 teams below him within 3 points. Point is scoring at 0.667 PPG while Wright is scoring at 0.712 PPG. And Wright could very well be the same overall as Point is now at a much younger age. |

CBJ may be in 5th now but there are 5 teams below him within 3 points. Point is scoring at 0.667 PPG while Wright is scoring at 0.712 PPG. And Wright could very well be the same overall as Point is now at a much younger age. Point has been in and out of the lineup for injuries, he tends to sim and put up points consistently. I dont think any player has got a major injury in back to back seasons. Point got 84 points in 82 games last season. At the time of the trade, Point and Wright both were not going to have their overalls changed for seasonal performance. Meaning Point would be 90 next season and Wright would be 85. At worst Point will be 89 OA next season. Wright has a possible chance at a bonus upgrade for being 19 and playing in the NHL. He has the chance of getting one of the following, 0,1,2. This is RNG. It's just how the upgrades/downgrades work for top players and teenagers. In your Division, NJD, PIT, NYR, WSH are only 3 points behind you. 5th to about 10th in the East are all really close to each other and 1 bad week by any team could possibly drop them out of the playoffs. |
